Crews continue work to complete pedestrian bridge on Victory Drive in Columbus

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Work to complete a pedestrian bridge along Victory Drive in Columbus continues.

The bridge already covers six lanes of traffic and will be the latest addition to the city's Follow Me Trail, a $2.1 million project proposed in 2017.

Crews still must finish pouring concrete and paving the two approaches on both sides before allowing people to use the bridge.
