(WTVM) - A press conference to discuss the upcoming White Water Classic match-up was held in Phenix City Wednesday.

This year marks the fifth year Albany State University and Tuskegee University have met up for the football game.

Phenix City Mayor Eddie Lowe along with city council members welcomed both teams to the area.

"It will be interesting," said Willie J. Slater, Tuskegee's head football coach. They have another really good team. We are coming off of a loss. So, it's going to be an interesting game."

"At this point, it's all about Tuskegee," mentioned Gabe Giadina, Albany's head football coach. Moving forward, that is why our guys are hungry to try and get out there and show who we really are."

Albany State look to defend their 2017 White Water Classic victory as Tuskegee plans to pull away with their fourth win.

Kickoff will be at Garrett Harrison Stadium at 5 p.m.
