UPDATE: One person dead in late night Rigdon Rd. shooting in Columbus

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus police responded to the intersection of Rigdon Rd. and 10th St. around 11:00 p.m. on Sept. 8.
Police found Thalmus Jones on the scene suffering from a gunshot wound.
Jones later died as a result of his injuries.
CPD is classifying this incident as a murder as they continue to investigate. No suspects have been named.
