Making reading fun, the 6th annual Columbus Children's Book Festival returns

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A family event is coming to the Columbus Public Library to help kids get excited about reading.

The 6th annual Columbus Children's Book Festival will take place at the Columbus Public Library on Sept. 15, 2018, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Children get the chance to meet world famous children, authors and illustrators while getting the chance to hear the "story behind the story" of some of the authors most famous works.

This event is free and open to the public and families are encouraged to come out and enjoy autograph sessions, food, book sales and more.
