Army ranger dies in vehicle accident during training at Fort Benning

FORT BENNING, GA (WTVM) - An Army Ranger died Friday during training at Fort Benning.
According to the Army Times, 1st Lt. Connor Bednarzyk died in a tactical vehicle accident. The 25-year-old was an infantry officer with E-Company, 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment.
According to the report, he was a platoon leader and his commander says he was known throughout his battalion for his caring and positive attitude.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident which is under investigation.
