COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Finally being treated to some long overdue relief from the heat across the Chattahoochee Valley as our first fall front crawls westward across the Southeast today. Though clouds have still kept us on the mild side this morning, more seasonable and drier air will filter in slowly throughout the day with more sunshine returning and highs topping out in only the low-mid 80s.
