Alabama AG’s office, ALEA hold press conference on kratom operation

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall’s Office and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency held a joint press conference Monday morning to “report the results of a recent statewide operation.”

The operation involved the seizure of illegal products, including kratom, from businesses across the state.

Part of the operation involved the execution of search warrants at four different businesses in Greenville on June 10. Warrants were also executed on June 9 at stores in Andalusia.
