Columbus artist heads to New York for meeting with multinational record label Def Jam

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) -Columbus artist and Army Veteran Jawga Boi will be taking a trip of a lifetime to the Big Apple to shoot his shot at securing a major record deal.
After releasing his album “Eminence,” he immediately captured the attention of hip-hop listeners after placing top three in the iTunes chart for hip-hop and rap albums.
Overall, he placed top 20 on the charts for all categories. JawGa Boi recently signed a distribution deal with Universal Music Group/Ingrooves.
The meeting with Def Jam is scheduled for January 22nd, 2021.
