Central’s Caleb Wiggins signs to Bethel College

PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WTVM) - It was a celebration for one Central student to live out his dream at the next level.

Caleb Wiggins is Bethel College’s newest soccer player.

Caleb signed his letter of intent Wednesday morning and will head to North Newton, Kansas to continue his playing career.

Sports Leader 9 caught up with Caleb and asked him what he’s most looking forward to in this next chapter and a lesson he’ll take from Central High.

“I’m looking to continue my soccer career, honestly, I want to continue at the next level and play as hard as I can and bring everything I can to the next level...a lesson I learned here... Even if you’re the underdog like Central, If we play teams that are better than us, we still have to push it to our hardest. Even though people doubt us we got to still play to our best that we know we can play at,” Wiggins said.
